A struggling musician journeys to a mystical forest,

where a hidden TIME MACHINE is rumored to reside... 

Equipped with grief and the last of his belongings,

he marches into the darkness to restore a life with

his long lost love.

Traveler's journey is not a simple one. As Traveler,

players will wield a magical instrument, battle

the three Goddesses of Fate, and uncover the

hidden truths of an ancient civilization.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR & ABOUT US

WE ARE LOOKING TO PARTNER WITH A PUBLISHER TO HELP US RELEASE THIS FIRST FULL-LENGTH TITLE!

We have funded this project completely out-of-pocket so far

We are looking for finishing funding to allow us to focus our development efforts on the game (more hours per week), and ensure the product gets delivered by end of year. We have 5 team members as well as some voice over contractors and this budget would be allocated across our entire team.

 

We are specifically looking to partner with a publisher for guidance and to fill in the gaps we have as a small studio. We are looking for a publishing partner who can help with marketing, QA, release rollout, live events, and porting to console.

A MEANINGFUL STORY

Our story deals with themes of depression, loss, and pursuing your dreams.

We are building a culturally relevant story and adventure that we want be

remembered and recommended to others for years to come.

A BEAUTIFUL HAND-PAINTED ART STYLE

Our game features 1000s of hand-painted frames, bringing our mind-bending story to life. Our art style has been compared to the Ghibli art style on numerous occasions and has an attention grabbing and mysterious look.

CAST SPELLS WITH YOUR INSTRUMENT

Input commands with your stick to strum your instrument, and cast a variation of spells which can be combined for a fluid and flashy combat system. Traveler can be upgraded to fit different types of playable builds. The system will appeal to gamers who enjoy technical gameplay.

FULLY VOICED DIALOGUE BY TOURING MUSICIANS

We are working with several signed musicians to bring the

characters in our world to life! Our current voice actors (Essenger, Andy Cizek from Monuments, Lee McKinney from Born Of Osiris, and Lexi Norton from Echos) receive over 700K total monthly  listens on Spotify.

BUILD YOUR MUSIC TRACK FROM CHOICES YOU MAKE

Our protagonist will recount his adventure in the forest through memory sequences. As the player, you will get to choose his emotional responses which will build a layered soundtrack for the area, or open up new pathways which were otherwise inaccessible.

PERIODICALLY, TRAVELER WILL RECOUNT MEMORIES FROM HIS PAST, OR NARRATE WHAT IS CURRENTLY GOING ON IN THE GAME. THE FOREST WILL ALSO GENERATE STATUESQUE ABOMINATIONS FROM TRAVELER'S MEMORIES, TO REMIND HIM OF HIS LIFE ONCE LIVED

You will run into an important character throughout the game, Asphodel, who will play a pivotal role in Traveler's journey. We plan to make DLC featuring her as a playable character.
